A comforting casserole that combines tuna, noodles, and cheese in a creamy sauce, perfect for weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 1 can (12 oz) tuna, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, cream of mushroom soup, milk, frozen peas, cooked egg noodles, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs. Drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Add extra veggies like bell peppers or mushrooms for more flavor. For a creamier texture, add more milk or cream.
