  • 1 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Peel the garlic cloves and set aside.
  2. Combine the distilled white vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  3. Add the peeled garlic cloves, black peppercorns, and mustard seeds to the boiling mixture.
  4. Cool the mixture for about 10 minutes.
  5. Transfer the garlic and pickling liquid into a clean jar and seal tightly.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before using.
