A comforting classic meatloaf recipe that’s easy to make and perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, ketchup, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl.
  3. Mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  5. Spread additional ketchup on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding finely chopped vegetables or herbs. Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
