A delightful gluten-free pizza crust made from fresh zucchini, perfect for holding your favorite toppings.

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Grate the Zucchini: Grate the zucchinis using the large holes of a box grater.
  3. Squeeze Out the Moisture: Wrap the grated zucchini in a clean towel and squeeze out excess moisture.
  4. Mix the Ingredients: Combine the zucchini with mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Spread the Zucchini Mixture: Shape the mixture into a round form about 1/4 inch thick on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake Until Golden: Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Top and Bake Again: Add toppings and bake for another 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.

Notes

Squeeze out as much water from the grated zucchini as possible for a crisp crust. Feel free to customize with spices and toppings.
