A rich and velvety Thai peanut sauce that’s perfect for dipping, drizzling, or dressing up any dish.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Water (Add as needed for consistency)
  • Crushed peanuts (For garnish)
  • Lime wedges (For garnish)
  • Fresh cilantro (For garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Blend the creamy peanut butter, soy sauce, honey or maple syrup, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Adjust the consistency by adding water slowly, one tablespoon at a time.
  4. Add the crushed red pepper flakes and mix thoroughly.
  5. Taste and adjust the flavors as needed.
  6. Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl and garnish with crushed peanuts, cilantro, and lime wedges.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 5-7 days. Warm slightly for a creamier texture before serving.
