Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and other desired toppings

Instructions

  1. Mix the ground turkey with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until thoroughly combined.
  2. Form the turkey mixture into four equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat your skillet or grill over medium-high heat until hot.
  4. Smash the patties down gently with a spatula to create a larger surface area for caramelization.
  5. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until fully cooked through.
  6. Assemble your burgers on fresh buns with lettuce, tomato, and any other toppings.

Notes

For best results, use a non-stick skillet or cast-iron pan and don’t skip the smashing technique.
