Deliciously light Turkey Lettuce Wraps filled with seasoned ground turkey and fresh vegetables, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves (butter or romaine)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the ground turkey, diced onion, and minced garlic. Cook until browned and the onion turns translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the bell peppers and mushrooms, cooking until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine and season with salt and pepper. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. Serve the turkey mixture in lettuce leaves, rolling them up like wraps.

Notes

Serve with cucumber salad or quinoa for a nutritious meal. Store leftover turkey filling in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
