  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 head of butter or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
  • Chopped peanuts, for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the ground chicken and cook until browned.
  2. Sauté aromatics: Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute, letting their fragrant notes fill the air.
  3. Stir in the bell pepper: Add in the diced red bell pepper and cook until it is slightly softened, adding a pop of color to the mix.
  4. Combine flavors: Toss in the green onions, soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
