Ingredients
Scale
Jumbo pasta shells
Ricotta cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese
1 Egg
Spinach or other vegetables (optional)
Marinara sauce
Salt and pepper
Italian seasoning
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Mix in a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, and any optional vegetables you wish to add. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Fill each cooked shell with the cheese mixture, ensuring they are nicely packed for that cheesy, indulgent experience.
Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish to prevent the shells from sticking and to add flavor.
Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish, seam side up, and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top for that golden, bubbly finish.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. This will help steam the shells and keep the filling moist.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly, giving that irresistible, golden crust.
Serve hot and enjoy every cheesy bite!
Notes
Leftover stuffed shells can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave as desired.
