A delightful dessert combining salty pretzel crust, creamy layers, and fresh strawberries, perfect for warm days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a spacious bowl, mix together the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of sugar until combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then allow it to cool completely.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese with 1 cup of sugar until smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the whipped topping until well combined, creating a light and luscious mixture. Spread this smooth mixture evenly over your cooled pretzel crust.
  3. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water. Once dissolved, stir in the sliced fresh strawberries. Let this mixture cool slightly; it should still be pourable but not hot.
  4. Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer, ensuring it covers the entire surface. Refrigerate the assembly until set, which will take about 4 hours. Serve chilled, and watch as your guests delight in every bite!

Notes
