  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) while you grease and flour a bundt pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk to the butter mixture, starting and ending with flour.
  6. Fold in the chopped fresh strawberries gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack.
  10. Whisk together the powdered sugar and milk for the glaze and drizzle over the cooled cake.
