A creamy and crunchy salad bursting with fresh strawberries, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 8 oz whipped topping
  • 1 cup chopped pretzels
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup melted butter
  • 2–3 cups diced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). While that’s heating up, wash, dry, and dice the strawberries; set them aside for later.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chopped pretzels, chopped pecans, melted butter, and brown sugar until well coated.
  3. Spread the pretzel and pecan mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 7–9 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until fluffy. Gently fold in the whipped topping.
  5. Fold the diced strawberries and cooled crunchy topping into the cream cheese mixture until just combined. Serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use ripe strawberries and chill the cream cheese before whipping. You can make the topping a day ahead of time.
