Delightful and easy-to-make Strawberry Cinnamon Rolls filled with fresh strawberries and topped with a sweet glaze.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add in the buttermilk and melted butter, stirring until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.
  5. Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Starting from one end, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  7. Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the rolls are golden and cooked through.
  9. Mix the powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle it over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

For best results, enjoy rolls fresh out of the oven. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
