A delightful and easy recipe for Strawberry Cheesecake Puff Pastry featuring flaky pastry, creamy cheesecake filling, and fresh strawberries.

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 2 tbsp sugar (for strawberries)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 beaten egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Unfold or roll out your puff pastry into a 9×12 inch rectangle.
  3. Slice the pastry into 8 equal rectangles.
  4. Beat the cream cheese with granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest until smooth.
  5. Toss sliced strawberries with sugar and lemon juice.
  6. Place a spoonful of cheesecake filling in the center of each pastry rectangle.
  7. Fold each rectangle into a square or triangle and press the edges to seal.
  8. Arrange filled pastries on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Brush each pastry with the beaten egg for shine.
  10. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
