  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 jalapeño, finely chopped (optional)
  • Burger buns
  • Toppings (lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, allowing it to get hot and ready for those juicy patties.
  2. Mix the ground turkey, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and optional jalapeño in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Form the turkey mixture into patties, about 3/4 inch thick for juiciness.
  4. Grill the patties on the hot grill for 5-6 minutes on each side, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Serve the patties on burger buns with your favorite toppings like fresh lettuce, avocado, and tomatoes.

Notes

Leftover burgers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the grill or in a skillet.
