  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss the drained and rinsed chickpeas with olive oil, hot sauce, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the seasoned chickpeas evenly on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave for about 20 seconds.
  5. Assemble the wraps by laying out a warm tortilla and adding roasted chickpeas, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, and avocado.
  6. Roll up each tortilla into a wrap and slice in half before serving.

Notes

These wraps are delicious on their own but can be served with a cucumber salad or sweet potato fries for a complete meal.
