Delightful Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars featuring creamy cream cheese filling and flaky crescent roll layers, topped with a buttery cinnamon crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Beat together the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough into the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll base.
  5. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it over the cream cheese layer.
  6. Pour the melted butter over the top layer of dough and sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and powdered sugar.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. Can be reheated in the oven with foil to retain moisture.
