Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ lb boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs (cut into cubes)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons sriracha (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar or lime juice
  • Chopped green onions (optional)
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, toss the chicken cubes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until they’re well-coated.
  2. Thread the Chicken onto Skewers: Take soaked wooden skewers and thread the seasoned chicken evenly onto them.
  3. Cook in the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the skewers in the air fryer basket and cook them for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once.
  4. Grill Option: Alternatively, grill the skewers over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Bake Option: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and cook the skewers for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and rice vinegar or lime juice until smooth.
  7. Coat with Sauce: Brush or drizzle the sauce generously over the hot skewers.
  8. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds, then serve immediately.

Notes
