A quick and flavorful stir-fry featuring tender beef and vibrant bell peppers in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the beef strips and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat the Skillet: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Stir-fry the Beef: Add the marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Sauté the Aromatics: In the same skillet, add more oil if needed and stir-fry the onion, bell peppers, and garlic until tender.
  5. Combine the Ingredients: Return the beef to the skillet, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

Sizzling Pepper Steak pairs beautifully with fluffy white rice but can also be served over egg noodles or alongside a fresh side salad.
