A flavorful and simple Shrimp Scampi recipe, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine or spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic and red pepper flakes for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, then simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Toss the cooked pasta with the shrimp mixture.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes
