Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to a cozy 325°F (165°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough forms a ball.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Roll the dough into a log shape and wrap it in plastic wrap. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Slice the dough into 1/4-inch thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet.
