Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Stir in the grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella cheese to the flour mixture.
  4. Whisk together the melted butter, milk, and eggs in a separate bowl until well combined.
  5. Add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, rosemary, and thyme to the wet mixture and stir to combine.
  6. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry bowl and mix gently until just combined; a few lumps are okay.
  7. Transfer the dough into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Cool the bread in the pan for about 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack.
  10. Slice and serve warm or toasted with butter.
