A comforting dish featuring vibrant kale sautéed with sweet caramelized onions and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch kale, washed and chopped
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the sliced onions to the skillet and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized (about 10-15 minutes).
  3. Add the chopped kale to the skillet and stir to coat.
  4. Sauté the kale for 5-7 minutes until wilted and tender.
  5. Stir in balsamic vinegar, season with salt and pepper, and let sizzle for another minute.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop.
