  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Chopped green onions (optional) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the pizza crust package instructions.
  2. Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until nicely browned.
  3. Create the sausage gravy by sprinkling flour over the cooked sausage and stirring to combine, then gradually add milk while stirring until thickened.
  4. Prepare the pizza crust by rolling it out onto a pizza stone or baking sheet.
  5. Spread the warm sausage gravy evenly over the pizza crust.
  6. Add shredded cheddar cheese over the gravy-covered pizza.
  7. Create two wells in the cheese and crack an egg into each well.
  8. Bake according to the pizza crust package instructions (typically 15-20 minutes) until golden and eggs are cooked.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
  10. Slice into wedges and serve warm.

Notes
