A simple yet flavorful dish featuring Italian sausage and colorful bell peppers, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 bell pepper (red or green), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Brown the sausage in the skillet until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté the sliced bell pepper and onion for another 5 minutes until softened.
  4. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Combine with the diced tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning if desired.
