Delicious salmon patties that are golden, flavorful, and perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh salmon, skin removed and finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Gather and combine the chopped salmon with bread crumbs, mayonnaise, the egg, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chopped green onions. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into small, firm patties, about the size of your palm.
  3. Heat a generous amount of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the patties in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve warm with zesty lemon aioli or atop a vibrant salad.

Notes

Leftover salmon patties can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for about a month.
