A refreshing and simple raspberry sorbet that captures the essence of summer in every spoonful.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Puree the raspberries in a blender until smooth.
  2. Dissolve the sugar in a saucepan with water over medium heat until completely dissolved.
  3. Mix in the raspberry puree and lemon juice, and remove the saucepan from heat.
  4. Freeze the mixture in a shallow dish for about 1 hour.
  5. Break up ice crystals with a fork after the hour is up.
  6. Achieve the perfect texture by returning it to the freezer and stirring every 30 minutes until fluffy.

Notes

To enjoy the best texture, stir the mixture frequently during freezing. Use ripe raspberries for optimal flavor.
