Homemade Raspberry Sorbet

A refreshing and easy-to-make raspberry sorbet, perfect for hot summer days and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Cool the syrup and prepare the raspberries.
  3. Puree the raspberries in a blender until smooth.
  4. Strain the raspberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds.
  5. Mix in the cooled sugar syrup and lemon juice.
  6. Churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  7. Freeze the sorbet for at least 2 hours in a lidded container before serving.

Notes

Serve it alongside chocolate cake or in a cocktail for an extra twist.
