Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pie crust
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, and milk. Add salt and pepper to season.
  4. Stir in the cooked bacon, Swiss cheese, and chopped onion.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until set and golden.
  7. Let the quiche cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

For crispier crust, consider blind baking the pie crust for about 10 minutes. Fresh ingredients elevate the dish.
