  • 34 pounds pork shoulder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 orange, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the pork shoulder with salt, black pepper, cumin, and oregano.
  3. Prepare the Dutch oven with the seasoned pork, onion, garlic, orange juice, lime juice, and chicken broth.
  4. Bake in the oven covered for 3 to 4 hours, until tender.
  5. Shred the pork using two forks.
  6. Crisp up the pork under the broiler for 5 to 10 minutes if desired.
