A classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich featuring tender ribeye steak, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and melted provolone cheese, perfect for any comfort food craving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 4 slices provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and bell peppers to the skillet, sautéing until softened.
  3. Increase the heat and add the sliced ribeye steak, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook until the steak is browned, gently shaking the skillet.
  5. Place cheese slices on top of the mixture and cover the skillet to melt.
  6. Carefully place the steak and cheese mixture into the hoagie rolls and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with crispy potato chips or a refreshing salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
