A delightful fusion of pizza and quesadillas with crispy tortillas, gooey cheese, and savory pepperoni.

Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: diced bell peppers, onions, or olives for added flavor

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Place one tortilla in the skillet, allowing it to warm slightly.
  3. Spread pizza sauce on the tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella cheese on top of the pizza sauce.
  5. Add the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and place the second tortilla on top.
  7. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown, pressing down gently.
  8. Flip the pizzadilla and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Cut into wedges and serve with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

For best results, ensure your skillet is preheated and adequately oiled. Experiment with different cheese types or add additional toppings.
