A delicious and guilt-free snack featuring crispy cheese bites topped with savory pepperoni.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 18 slices pepperoni (turkey pepperoni optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, and grated Parmesan cheese in a mixing bowl.
  3. Stir in the Italian seasoning and garlic powder, adding red pepper flakes if desired.
  4. Halve large pepperoni slices to make handling easier.
  5. Arrange the pepperoni slices in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  6. Sprinkle the cheese mixture generously over each pepperoni slice.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For more flavor, mix in gouda or provolone cheese. Use low-sodium pepperoni to reduce saltiness.
