An elegant and simple appetizer featuring flaky puff pastry, creamy cheese, and a spicy-sweet red pepper jelly.

  • 1 sheet Puff pastry (flaky and buttery)
  • 1 cup Flour (for dusting)
  • 1 spray Nonstick cooking spray (for muffin tin)
  • 8 oz Cream cheese (rich and creamy texture)
  • 1/2 cup Red pepper jelly (spicy-sweet flavor)
  • 1 tbsp Fresh thyme leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Soften the puff pastry by letting it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the muffin tin by generously spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Bake the puff pastry shells for 10 to 12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Fill each pre-baked puff pastry shell with a generous amount of cream cheese.
  6. Add a vibrant dollop of red pepper jelly over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Bake again for an additional 6 to 8 minutes.
  8. Cool the bites for a few minutes and then garnish with fresh thyme leaves.

Notes
