  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix everything together until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a lined baking sheet, spaced a few inches apart.
  5. Flatten each dough ball gently with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
  6. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until they are lightly golden brown.
  7. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.

Notes

For the best results, use natural peanut butter and don’t overmix the dough. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
