A warm and buttery dessert, peach cobbler combines syrupy peaches with a sweet cake-like topping for a comforting treat.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sliced peaches
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine sliced peaches with sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a baking dish.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Add milk and melted butter to the dry mix and stir until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter over the peaches in the baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
