A warm and comforting peach cobbler featuring juicy peaches and a golden-brown crust, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Pour in the milk and melted butter, and whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter over the peaches, without mixing.
  6. Slide the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
  7. Once baked, let the cobbler cool slightly before serving.

Notes
