A comforting and flavorful Mississippi Pot Roast that melts in your mouth, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 34 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 56 pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the roast in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix over the roast.
  3. Add the butter on top of the roast.
  4. Nestle the pepperoncini around the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  6. Shred the roast with two forks and mix with the juices before serving.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes or in a fresh roll for a delightful meal. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
