A creamy, no-bake dessert featuring layers of fluffy whipped cream, sliced bananas, and crunchy vanilla wafers—a nostalgic treat perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package vanilla wafer cookies
  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Milk Mixture: In a bowl, combine the milk, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. Whisk them together until well-blended.
  2. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, take the heavy cream and add the powdered sugar. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Assemble the Trifle: In a trifle dish or any large glass bowl, start layering with vanilla wafers, then add sliced bananas on top. Pour some milk mixture over the bananas, then a layer of whipped cream.
  4. Continue Layering: Repeat the process until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  5. Chill to Perfection: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight if possible.
