A refreshing twist on the classic tiramisu with the rich creaminess of mascarpone and the vibrant tang of limoncello, perfect for summer indulgence.

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces ladyfingers
  • 1 cup limoncello
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Whip the heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form.
  2. Fold in the mascarpone cheese and lemon zest until well combined.
  3. Pour the limoncello into a shallow dish.
  4. Dip each ladyfinger into the limoncello quickly.
  5. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish.
  6. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  7. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with lemon zest before serving.

Notes

Make sure mascapone is at room temperature for easier blending. Quick dips will prevent soggy ladyfingers.
