Lemon and Thyme Roasted Sea Bass

A light and elegant Mediterranean dish featuring tender sea bass infused with lemon and thyme.

Ingredients

  • 4 fillets Sea Bass (6 ounces each)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 Lemon, thinly sliced
  • 4 sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 1/4 cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 tbsp Unsalted Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Drizzle the olive oil in a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  3. Pat the sea bass fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the minced garlic and lemon slices on the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Carefully lay the seasoned sea bass fillets over the garlic and lemon.
  6. Pour the dry white wine around the fish.
  7. Dollop the unsalted butter over the fillets.
  8. Place the baking dish in the oven and roast for about 15-20 minutes.
  9. Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Pair with arugula salad or roasted vegetables. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
