A quick and flavorful grilled shrimp recipe infused with zesty lemon and fresh herbs, perfect for summer evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Flavorful Marinade by combining olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, cilantro, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Marinate the shrimp by adding them to the bowl and tossing to coat evenly. Let them soak for 15-30 minutes.
  3. Get the grill ready by preheating it to medium-high heat.
  4. Prepare the skewers by threading the marinated shrimp onto them. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  5. Grill the shrimp on the preheated grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until they become opaque and slightly charred.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges on the side, squeezing fresh lemon juice over the shrimp just before enjoying.

Notes

These grilled shrimp are best enjoyed fresh, but if you have leftovers, store them in the fridge for up to 2 days.
