A rich, succulent dish of salmon baked in garlic butter and lemon juice, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the melted butter until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper, placing them skin-side down in the skillet.
  5. Pour the fresh lemon juice over the salmon and spoon the garlic butter on top.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the salmon flakes easily.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For a crispier salmon skin, finish under the broiler for the last 2 minutes of baking.
