A classic Key Lime Pie that balances creamy and tangy flavors with a delightful graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh key lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • Whipped cream (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined, then press into a 9-inch pie pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden. Allow to cool.
  4. Whisk the egg yolks until light and frothy.
  5. Add sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest to egg yolks and mix until smooth.
  6. Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
  7. Bake the pie for 15-20 minutes until set.
  8. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  9. Serve chilled topped with whipped cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for a month.
