Deliciously creamy and spicy jalapeno poppers, perfect for gatherings or as a tasty snack.

Ingredients

  • 10 fresh jalapenos
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  3. Mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and smoked paprika in a bowl until creamy.
  4. Spoon the filling into each jalapeno half generously.
  5. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of the stuffed jalapenos.
  6. Place them on a baking sheet and optionally spray with cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

When handling jalapenos, consider wearing gloves to avoid the oils irritating your skin.
