Delicious Italian Basil Chicken Cutlets featuring crispy breadcrumb coating and fresh basil for a flavorful delight.

Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup Fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs (oregano, thyme, etc.)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 Eggs
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Prepare the egg wash by beating the eggs in a bowl.
  4. Create the breadcrumb mixture by mixing breadcrumbs with chopped basil and Italian herbs.
  5. Coat each chicken breast in the egg wash, then in the breadcrumb mixture.
  6. Fry the cutlets in olive oil until golden brown on both sides.
  7. Transfer the fried cutlets to a baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
  8. Serve with pasta or salad and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crispy cutlets, consider double-coating with breadcrumbs. Feel free to experiment with herbs and spices!
