A vibrant Italian Combo Pasta Salad featuring bow tie pasta, savory meats, and a creamy homemade dressing, perfect for picnics and potlucks.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz bow tie (farfalle) pasta
  • 4 oz diced salami
  • 4 oz diced pepperoni
  • 4 oz diced ham
  • 8 oz mozzarella pearls
  • 1/2 cup sliced banana peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced red onion
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, then drain and rinse.
  2. Cool the pasta completely to prevent melting cheese.
  3. Chop the salami, ham, and pepperoni into small pieces, and slice the banana peppers and red onion.
  4. Toss the cooled pasta with olive oil and grated Parmesan.
  5. Make the dressing by whisking together mayo, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper.
  6. Assemble by adding meats, mozzarella, banana peppers, and red onion to the pasta. Pour dressing over and toss gently.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the meats and add seasonal vegetables.
