Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Instant Pot: Place a steamer basket or trivet in the Instant Pot.
  2. Add Water: Pour in 1 cup of water.
  3. Arrange the Eggs: Carefully arrange the eggs in the steamer basket or on the trivet.
  4. Seal It Up: Close the lid securely and set the valve to sealing.
  5. Set the Cooking Time: Cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  6. Quick Release: After the cooking time is up, quick-release the pressure.
  7. Ice Bath: Remove the eggs and place them in an ice bath for 5-10 minutes before peeling.

Notes

For softer yolks, adjust the cooking time to 4 minutes instead of 5. Use older eggs for easier peeling.
