Juicy and flavorful chicken breasts cooked in an Instant Pot, perfect for salads, sandwiches, or on their own.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode and add the olive oil.
  3. Sear the chicken breasts on each side for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom.
  5. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set it to pressure cook on high for 10 minutes.
  6. Allow a natural pressure release for 5 minutes, then do a quick release for any remaining steam.
  7. Remove the chicken breasts and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For maximum tenderness, allow the chicken to rest after cooking. Experiment with different spices for flavor variations.
