A delicious fusion of classic grilled cheese and burrito, featuring gooey cheese, savory protein, and colorful veggies wrapped in a crispy tortilla.

Ingredients

  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
  • 1 cup cooked protein (chicken, beef, or beans)
  • 1/2 cup sautéed vegetables (peppers, onions, or spinach)
  • Butter for frying
  • Optional toppings (sour cream, salsa, avocado)

Instructions

  1. Heat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Lay one tortilla flat on the warm skillet.
  3. Sprinkle half of the cheese evenly over the tortilla.
  4. Add your choice of cooked protein and sautéed vegetables on top of the cheese.
  5. Top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Fold the tortilla over to create a burrito.
  7. Cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  8. Flip the burrito and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted, usually another 2-3 minutes.
  9. Slice in half and serve with your choice of toppings.

Notes

For best flavor, mix different cheeses and use fresh seasonal vegetables. Try adding spices for extra flavor.
